My Bowling Dice Game Score Download

When I was about 8 years old I invented my own dice bowling game. The games was very fun for me and it keep me from getting real bored. When I was a young boy I always had about 10 dice in my pocket.  I used always go to the bowling alley every Friday night with my Dad and some of my brothers to watch him bowl and play some pinball with the money I had saved during the week.  Back then it only cost 10 cents to play one game or 3 games for a quarter.  So when I wasn't playing pinball I was watching my Dad Bowl and I would help them keep score. So one day I was home and I thought of a game I could play with my dice just like bowling.  Their are 10 pins in bowling so I needed 10 dice to play this game one for each pin.  I also needed a way to keep score so I just got a piece of paper and made my own Bowling sheet.  The sheet had a place for you name and a box for each frame.  I made it look as close to a real bowling score card as possible.  I even put the word Coke on the 5th frame just like they did at the bowling alley.   This game was very fun I played with my brothers and sometimes with my friends and we all enjoyed it.  It was 1969 and back then they used to sell dice for about 99 cents for 5 and I thought that was a lot of money.  If you want to play this game yourself, I have put the rules down and what you need on this hub.  Please check for more games I made up a lot of them when I was a kid.

Material Needed

To play the Dice bowling game you will need the following materials.

1. 10 dice

2. 1 Piece of Paper

3. 1 Pencil

4. 1 Plastic Cup

The first thing you need to do is make your bowling Score Card on your sheet of Paper. I would suggest about 60 boxes for 5 games. 12 boxes across on 5 different rows. If you want to make it easy on yourself you can print one off the internet at Apollos Templates. You are now ready to play the game.

You have all the Material and you have made your score card you can now play the game. Its a very simple game just get your 10 dice and put them in your cup and roll them on the floor. If you roll a 3,4,5, or 6 you knocked down the pin. If you rolled a 1 or a 2 the pin is still up. After your first roll if you get all 3,4,5,6 you have gotten a strike if you have any 1 or 2's you have to roll them again to try to get a spare. If on your second roll you get all 3,4,5, or 6 you will get a spare. If you have any 1 or 2 dice left you get a open frame.
